Callaway Corvette packages consist of components developed by Callaway engineers to provide a well-balanced, reliable, emissions-compliant, high-powered upgrade to the already-impressive Chevrolet Corvette. The packages support Callaway's philosophy of preparing each car to an existing set of engineering specifications, to avoid turning each car into an engineering project. This approach gives the Callaway Corvette its own unique identity,

Callaway Corvettes are powered by Chevrolet's LS3 and LS7 engines which have been enhanced by the TVS2300 supercharger system, Eaton's latest "Twin Vortices Series" design. With significantly increased efficiency compared to their earlier "MP" designs, this Roots-type supercharger provides an increase of 150 (LS7) to 180 (LS3) horsepower over the stock Corvette's output. Callaway selected Eaton, the world's leading OE (original equipment) supercharger manufacturer, for their internal components, ensuring bulletproof reliability.

Callaway fuel systems are engineered to provide extra fuel on demand, while the supercharger's internal inlet bypass allows the rotors to spin freely during low-load idle and cruising, reducing parasitic drag to less than one-half of one horsepower. The result: optimum air-fuel ratio, avoiding excessive lean conditions with practically no reduction in fuel mileage.

The special, supercharged version of the Honker cold air intake system reduces inlet air restriction and lowers inlet air temperatures to improve charge air quality for more power. Plus, Callaway's extra-large high flow mufflers reduce exhaust gas restriction to accommodate the supercharged engine's increased mass flow rate.

Callaway's electronic engine management calibration provides perfect street manners, eliminating engine-damaging detonation and check-engine-light issues, while maintaining excellent fuel economy and 50-state emission compliance (CARB E.O. D-488-14).

The standard equipment packages also includes Callaway emblems and other identification to support the Callaway's status as its own marque.

Callaway Authenticity Documentation

Every Callaway Corvette comes with a Certificate of Authenticity which documents the VIN, original owner, dealer name and address, interior and exterior colors, delivery date, odometer mileage, and Callaway optional equipment. We maintain a database with information on every Callaway Corvette, just as we still keep records current for all other Callaway Corvettes, Camaros and Impalas built since 1987.

Callaway/Eibach Suspension Package

 

The optional Callaway Corvette suspension system consists of double adjustable machined aluminum dampers, external reservoirs with 10-position compression and rebound control; companion helper and tender springs supplementing composite leaf springs; and tubular front and rear stabilizer bars with adjustable end links. A precison four-wheel alignment is also included following installation.

Callaway and Eibach jointly developed this ultimate suspension upgrade for the Corvette platform.  The objective was as follows: Give the driver a tool to transform the ride of the automobile to his/her taste.  The elements that are now adjustable with this suspension system are: ride height, pitch attitude, cross-weighting of the entire car, and damping rate in both rebound and compression.  With this adjustability, we look to satisfy the driver who will tailor his ride and handling to their local conditions whether that be road or track, high speed or around town, autocross or cross country. We have good starting point suggestions for each of those uses. Once in place, you are encouraged to experiment.

Special Delivery Options

Corvette Museum Delivery

Take delivery of your new Callaway Corvette at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky. An NCM Delivery Team conducted VIP tour of the Corvette manufacturing plant is included. A special gold decal is placed inside the driver's door jamb indicating the NCM/R8C delivery. The Callaway Corvette owner also receives an individual one year National Corvette Museum membership. After delivery, a commemorative plaque is shipped to the new owner including name, date of delivery and vehicle identification number.

Chevrolet Regular Production Option (RPO) R8C is also required when ordering this Callaway option.

Callaway Factory Delivery

Take delivery of your new Callaway Corvette at the constructing Callaway factory in either Corona California or Old Lyme Connecticut. You are invited to tour the facility and follow the assembly of these special vehicles. Callaway engineers also provide you with a comprehensive introduction of your new Callaway Corvette and all of its unique features, including a ride-along to help you get familiar with your car's new capabilities. Your Callaway Authenticity Documentation Package is also presented.

California customers can observe Callaway's carbon fiber body panel construction, while Connecticut customers can visit with Callaway engineers and watch Callaway component manufacturing. Callaway Camaro and C16 assembly can also be viewed at both facilities.
